  Tennessee Twister Wins Millennium Jam
Win makes her first American to win at major balloon artist competitions.

Party Animals of Tennessee, the premiere costumed entertainment and balloon decorating company is proud to announce that company president, Connie Iden took home the first pace trophy in the medium sculpture competition at The Millenium Jam in Mol, Belgium.  The Millenium Jam, held annually, is Europe's premiere balloon artist convention and competition hosted by IBS.  Ms. Iden was the only woman to win at this years' convention and the only American to ever win at any of the annual Millennium Jam competitions.

In addition, Connie has won awards for her balloon artistry at both TJAM 2001 in Austin, Texas and Twist and Shout 2002 in Boston, Massachusetts making her the first and only American to win at all three major balloon twisting competitions.

Connie began twisting balloons over 13 years ago to entertain at childrens birthday parties.  As the president of Party Animals, Connie makes attendance at balloon competitions a priority.

Tennessee Balloon Artist wins prestigious title of "Entertainer of the Year" at the  2003 International Balloon Artists Convention
Win makes her first woman to be awarded this title.

Chicago, IL - Party Animals of Nashville, the premier costumed entertainment and balloon decorating company is proud to announce that company president, Connie Iden-Monds took recently won the title of "Entertainer of the Year" at the 2003 International Balloon Artists Convention (IBAC) in Chicago, IL. The International Balloon Artists Convention, held annually in March, is the largest and premier balloon artist convention hosting competitors from around the world. This is the first time in the history of this category that a woman has won this title.

To win this title, balloon artist compete in three categories-Stage competition, Non-Round Sculpture and Fancy Balloon Figure. The artist with the highest cumulative score in all three categories is awarded the "Entertainer of the Year" Title.  Ms. Iden-Monds placed first in the stage competition with a black light puppet show to Disney's "Under the Sea". She place second in the Non-Round Sculpture- a category in which the creation must be no larger than 7'by 7'by 7' and use primarily non-round balloons. She was assisted by co-designer Mike Lane and Roy Monds. Her Fancy Balloon figure of a world champion body builder placed third. This figure had to be created in twelve minutes or less. 

Previously, Connie made a name for herself in the industry as the only American to ever win at the annual European Millennium Jam (2002) competition. In addition, Connie has won awards for her balloon artistry at both TJAM balloon twisters convention 2001 and 2003 in Austin, Texas and Twist and Shout Balloon Artist Convention 2002 in Boston, Massachusetts making her the first and only American to win at all three major balloon twisting competitions.
